Job summary

Unitil, a utility focused on delivering energy safely and reliably in New England, seeks a Senior Energy Efficiency Program Coordinator in Portsmouth, NH. You will manage and coordinate EE programs across New Hampshire and Massachusetts, ensuring alignment with regulators, budgets, and company strategy.

You will lead program development, oversee contractors and ESCOs, provide expert testimony when required, and build strong relationships with regulators and key customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of related experience across technical, strategic and business areas; strong communication, technical and computer skills.
• Candidates with other degrees but strong project management experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates energy efficiency programs across NH and MA.
• Leads program development, implementation and management.
• Interviews and selects energy service companies, issues RFPs, evaluates bids, and arranges contracts.
• Manages consulting firms and contractors, monitors performance and customer satisfaction.
