Job summary

Eversource Energy invites a senior leader to oversee the Energy Efficiency Consultants team across multiple states, driving engagement with manufacturers and suppliers of energy-saving products and services. The role ensures effective channel strategy execution and manages the energy efficiency portfolio to meet goals.

The position collaborates with sales, implementation, and evaluation teams, regulators, and customers, travel between MA/CT/NH as needed, and supports a hybrid work model with

• Requires ability to interpret energy efficiency/renewable technologies and understand their application.
• Demonstrates initiative and ability to make decisions based on logical assumptions and factual information.
• Demonstrates leadership, mentoring, and networking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Eversource’s mission, organization, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Directs supervision of department staff, including development, performance assessments, recruitment and reporting procedures for program implementation.
• Oversees budgeting, invoicing and tracking of expenses and energy savings; develops RFPs for contracted services.
• Leads integration of strategic activities between customers, program admins, advisory consultants and vendors.
• Develops relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and contractors in energy efficiency programs.
• Leads process improvements and ensures on-time, on-budget, on-scope delivery.
• Executes department plans for regulatory filings and rate-payer oversight.
• Leads development of draft testimony and testifies before regulatory bodies.
• Represents Eversource in national energy efficiency events and conferences.
