Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to lead client engagements, model industrial and commercial systems, and write feasibility reports while mentoring peers.

Travel about 20% and no office requirement. A Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is required, with 5–8 years of engineering experience and strong knowledge across refrigeration, air systems, steam, and data logging, plus SEM and project management experience.

Qualifications

• ~5–8 years of engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air systems, steam systems, custom modeling, electrical distribution design, and data-logging.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile energy projects, mentoring peers and ensuring quality control.
• Quantify energy savings using established tools and methodologies and write feasibility reports.
• Engage with clients on-site to identify opportunities and develop recommendations.
• Collect data, report on performance, and ensure compliance with utility programs.
