Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to lead energy projects, model systems, and write feasibility reports for industrial and commercial facilities. You will engage with clients, gather data, quantify savings, and mentor peers while ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Travel ~20%; no fixed office required. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 5–8 years of engineering experience, RCx, SEM, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• ~5–8 years of engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air, steam, modeling, electrical distribution, industrial control and data logging.
• Experience in energy efficiency in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience doing retro-commissioning (RCx) and SEM.
• Strong project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile energy projects with accountability and peer review.
• Quantify energy savings using established tools and modeling methods.
• Engage on-site with clients to identify opportunities and deliver recommendations.
• Gather data, write feasibility reports, and ensure project quality and delivery.
