Cascade Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer I with energy efficiency and retro‑commissioning (RCx) experience to lead high‑impact projects for industrial and commercial facilities. You will model and optimize systems, write feasibility reports, mentor peers, and ensure quality across engagements while advancing our energy‑tech tools and client solutions.

The role involves data collection, site visits, and collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in energy efficiency in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience doing retro‑commissioning (RCx).
• Experience with Strategic Energy Management (SEM).
• Strong project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high‑profile energy projects, mentoring peers through technical discussions and work review.
• Quantify energy savings from system/equipment changes using established tools, spreadsheets, and methodologies.
• Visit industrial facilities to understand operations, identify energy‑efficiency opportunities, provide recommendations, and uncover new work with clients.
• Collect/document performance data, write energy‑efficiency project reports, and maintain expertise in utility programs and compliance requirements.
