Job summary

Cascade Energy seeks a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to lead high-profile energy projects for industrial and commercial facilities. You will gather data, model optimization, write feasibility reports, and mentor team members while ensuring quality control across programs.

The role involves on-site engagement, data-driven analyses, and compliance with utility programs, with travel ~20% and a requirement to reside in select U.S. states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field; 5–8 years engineering experience
• Experience with refrigeration, compressed air systems, steam systems, and data-logging of system results
• Experience with energy efficiency in commercial/industrial facilities
• Experience with retro-commissioning (RCx) and SEM (Strategic Energy Management)

Responsibilities

• Project leadership & delivery: Lead and manage high-profile energy projects, mentoring peers through technical discussions and work review.
• Energy analysis & savings calculations: Quantify energy savings using established tools and methodologies.
• On-site client engagement & opportunity identification: Visit facilities to understand operations, identify opportunities, and win new work.
• Technical communication & stakeholder alignment: Present complex topics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Data collection, reporting & program compliance: Collect performance data, write energy-efficiency reports, and maintain utility program compliance.
