Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to lead high-profile projects, mentor peers, and engage clients across multiple facilities. You will perform energy analyses, develop optimization models, and write feasibility reports while ensuring program compliance.

The role requires up to 20% travel, residency in eligible states, and a strong background in industrial/commercial energy systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of engineering experience in energy projects.
• Experience with RCx and SEM.
• Experience with energy efficiency in industrial/commercial facilities.
• Ability to travel ~20% and work in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership & delivery: Lead and manage high-profile energy projects, mentoring peers through technical discussions.
• Energy analysis & savings calculations using established tools, spreadsheets, and accepted methodologies.
• On-site client engagement & opportunity identification: visit facilities, identify energy-efficiency opportunities, and develop new work.
• Technical communication & stakeholder alignment: present complex topics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Data collection, reporting & program compliance: collect data, write energy-efficiency project reports, and maintain utility program knowledge.
