Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to lead high-profile energy projects across industrial and commercial facilities. You will perform data collection, modeling, feasibility reporting, and mentor peers while ensuring project success.

The role requires 5–8 years in engineering, strong knowledge of refrigeration, steam and electrical systems, SEM, and hands-on client engagement. A remote-friendly, national role with travel about 20% is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in mechanical or chemical engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air, steam, electrical distribution, data logging.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile energy projects, mentoring peers through technical discussions.
• Quantify energy savings using established tools, spreadsheets, and methods.
• Visit facilities to identify energy-efficiency opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Present complex topics clearly to diverse audiences to gain consensus.
• Collect performance data and maintain knowledge of utility programs and compliance.
