Job summary

Cascade Energy seeks a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and RCx expertise to lead high-profile energy projects and mentor peers. You will develop optimization models for industrial and commercial facilities and write feasibility reports, while managing projects end-to-end.

You will quantify energy savings, engage with clients on-site, and present results to stakeholders. Travel about 20% is expected; bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years’ engineering experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
• 5–8 years of engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air, steam systems, electrical distribution, and data-logging.
• Experience in energy efficiency in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience doing retro-commissioning (RCx).
• Experience with Strategic Energy Management (SEM).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile energy projects, mentoring peers through technical discussions and reviews.
• Quantify energy savings from system changes using established tools and methodologies.
• Visit industrial facilities to identify energy-efficiency opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Present complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences to build understanding and drive consensus.
• Collect, document performance data and write energy-efficiency project reports, ensuring program compliance.
