Job summary

Resource Innovations in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Program Manager with a strong background in Commercial and Industrial energy efficiency program design and implementation. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale programming, develop plans, budgets, and forecasts, and build trusted client relationships.

The role reports to a leadership team and emphasizes delivering on goals while coordinating with clients, utilities, and industry stakeholders to power change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in energy-efficiency or related field.
• Proven ability to develop and implement project scopes, budgets, and plans.
• Strong short- and long-range planning and strategy experience.
• Previous contract development and negotiation experience.
• Excellent project and program management skills.
• Proficient in establishing job and work process flows.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines within budget.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of program design, work plans, staffing alignment and forecasting.
• Coordinate delivery of large-budget energy efficiency programs to utility clients.
• Identify, define, quantify, track, and drive program deliverables.
• Continuously assess progress and develop innovative solutions to market dynamics.
• Manage subcontractors, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and communications; resolve issues.
• Interface with IT, Marketing, Finance, and HR to meet program needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
