Job summary
Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Advisor (Energy Manager / Outreach Engineer) to join our Northern Illinois team. You will act as a senior strategic and technical advisor to commercial and industrial clients, identifying high-value energy efficiency opportunities and guiding projects from opportunity through implementation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in energy efficiency consulting or related field.
- Experience with industrial/commercial facilities energy savings.
- Experience supporting utility-sponsored energy programs.
- Ability to influence customer decisions via consultative selling and relationship management.
- Strong communications and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead customers through the full project development lifecycle from opportunity identification to implementation.
- Develop Energy Management Action Plans and living roadmaps for customers.
- Identify and qualify energy efficiency opportunities and assess feasibility.
- Articulate business case and financial benefits of proposed projects.
- Collaborate with engineering specialists to develop solutions for complex systems.
- Maintain CRM activity, pipelines, and project forecasts.
