Kinder Morgan seeks an Account Manager to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. As a commercial representative of the largest natural gas pipeline company and a leading energy firm in North America, you will interact with senior management and drive negotiations with customers.

You will develop and maintain customer relationships, support business development, and lead project economics, capacity offerings, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to ensure profitable outcomes.

Competenze

• 7+ years of energy industry experience with commercial client relationships, trading, scheduling, analytics or new business opportunities.
• Ability to analyze all aspects of a natural gas business (technical, financial, contractual, legal, operational and marketing).
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence without authority across internal and external stakeholders with tact and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel as needed and significant industry contacts.

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and/or existing customers and other key industry representatives.
• Support business development strategies.
• Identify prospects, lead negotiations, and prepare commercial agreements with potential customers and/or counterparties.
• Originate and manage the lifecycle development of projects and capacity offerings to enhance profitability.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to produce scopes of work, identify risks, and produce cost estimates.
• Evaluate and present economics for projects and investment opportunities.
• Negotiate business transactions and draft definitive commercial agreements.
