Responsibilities

• Support customer development activities including proposal development, customer meetings, and commercial negotiations.
• Analyze market trends, supply and demand fundamentals, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.
• Participate in new project origination efforts including greenfield and brownfield expansion opportunities.
• Build, maintain, and analyze financial models supporting capital projects, acquisitions, expansions, and commercial transactions.
• Analyze asset utilization and identify opportunities to enhance revenue and operational performance.
• Work with Scheduling, Gas Control, and Operations teams to understand system constraints and commercial impacts.
• Assess capacity utilization, market optionality, and customer demand trends.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Environmental, and Finance teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project economics and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Participate in customer meetings, industry conferences, and market outreach activities.
• Present commercial analyses and recommendations to leadership teams.

What We Are Looking For

The Midstream Business Development Manager/Analyst is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and supporting commercial growth opportunities across the Company's midstream asset portfolio. This role works closely with Commercial, Operations, Scheduling, Engineering, Regulatory, Legal, and Finance teams to evaluate new business opportunities, support customer development efforts, optimize existing assets, and develop business cases that drive long-term value creation.

This position combines commercial insight, financial analysis, market intelligence, and customer engagement to support strategic growth initiatives involving natural gas transportation, storage, gathering and processing, NGL infrastructure, treating, and other midstream assets.

The position may be filled from an Analyst up to a Manager IC (individual contributor) level depending on qualifications and experience.

What You Will Do

Job Responsibilities will include:

• Support customer development activities including proposal development, customer meetings, and commercial negotiations.

What You Need

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (required); studies in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or Finance

Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

• Analyst level: 2+ years of experience in commercial, business development, finance, engineering, operations or related industry role.
• Manager IC level: 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, commercial, marketing, finance or engineering midstream functions.
• Must be a natural self-starter looking to add value as an individual contributor that works well with a team
• Must be able to analyze all aspects of a natural gas business arrangement (technical, financial, contractual, legal, operational and marketing)
• Must have well developed oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Must have the ability to influence without authority by working with a wide variety of people, internally and externally, with tact, courtesy and professionalism while driving for positive results
• Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential
• Must be a problem solver with the ability to find resolutions
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction
• Must be flexible and able to work effectively in a team environment and consistently maintain a professional and respectful demeanor/attitude with co-workers, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies
• Willingness to travel, as needed

Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge (above the minimum requirements; notrequired, but advantageous in this position):

• Demonstrated experience evaluating commercial opportunities and developing business cases
• Strong understanding of natural gas, storage, gathering and processing, NGL, transportation, and/or midstream markets
• Experience supporting customer negotiations and commercial transactions
• Prior experience in developing new business investment opportunities or expansion projects
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Working knowledge of the Louisiana intrastate market
• Experience in the Mississippi River corridor
