Job summary

Hyundai Capital America is seeking a Sr. Employee Relations Manager to independently manage complex employee relations matters, conduct investigations, advise managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders on performance, conduct, leaves, accommodations, and separations.

This role partners with Legal and Compliance, develops practical risk-balanced solutions, supports policy updates, reporting, and manager education, and ensures timely, confidential documentation and compliant employment

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in employee relations or HR, with independent investigations.
• Experience advising managers, HR Business Partners, Legal, and leaders on risk mitigation and policy interpretation.
• Experience identifying trends and supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex employee relations matters and investigations.
• Provide advanced guidance on performance management and corrective action.
• Develop or support manager education, communications, tools, and templates.
• Analyze case data and trends to identify root causes and risks.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for HR leadership.
• Support leaves, accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
