Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical HR consultation to managers and employees, conduct investigations, and guide on disciplinary actions and terminations.

You will analyze data to identify trends and help reduce legal risk by interpreting policies across regions. The role collaborates with HRBPs, Legal, and COEs to deliver consistent HR support, while travel to sites in the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational management, law, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations with neutral, timely processes.
• Provide supervisors and managers with policy interpretation on conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/Labor Relations/Legal Teams to resolve complex Employee Relations cases.
• Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management, legal compliance, and union-related provisions where applicable.
