Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical ER consultation to managers and employees. You will conduct investigations, interpret policies, and guide resolution with HRBPs and Legal teams to mitigate legal risk.

Travel to company sites within the region and support the execution of performance management and compliance initiatives. Strong written and oral communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in related field.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of employment laws.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans and ensuring compliance.
• Provide supervisors/managers with policy interpretation on conflict resolutions, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management, HR, Labor Relations, and Legal teams to resolve complex ER situations.
• Deliver high-quality HR support including performance management and compliance with relevant union provisions.
