Relay is seeking an Employee Relations Lead to own complex ER cases end-to-end at our London HQ, with on-site presence at sortation centres as needed. You will resolve grievances, disciplinaries and conduct issues, and build scalable ER processes across the network.

Based in London, you will partner with site leadership, advise managers, and manage legal risk with early conciliation and tribunal prep. This hands-on role emphasizes fair investigations and proactive policy improvements.

Formación

• End-to-end ER case management in grievances, disciplinary and conduct matters.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, including early conciliation and tribunal preparation.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-site operational environments.
• Calm, clear communication in sensitive or conflict situations.
• Experience improving ER processes using case data to identify risk and trends.
• Willingness to travel to sortation centres 1–2 days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Own complex ER cases end to end across grievances, disciplinary and conduct matters.
• Partner with sortation leadership to provide people risk insights and translate into operational plans.
• Advise and coach site managers to handle lower-level ER issues.
• Manage legal risk, including tribunal preparation and external counsel where required.
• Build and improve ER processes using data, policies, and escalation routes.
• Create a scalable ER framework applicable across sites while staying aligned with employment law changes.
• Be highly visible on site to build trust with operatives and managers.
