Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical HR consultation to managers and staff. The role conducts investigations, interprets policies, and collaborates with Legal, HRBPs, and Labor Relations to resolve complex employee relations issues.

The position focuses on proactive risk mitigation, data analysis of ER trends, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and union agreements. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, organizational management, law or equivalent; or 4 years of required experience.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations with plans and timelines.
• Oversee case management in ServiceNow and Navex systems.
• Provide policy interpretation to supervisors and managers on conflict resolutions and termination procedures.
• Collaborate with Operational Management/HR/Labor Relations/Legal to solve complex Employee Relations issues.
• Support performance management, legal compliance, union clauses, employee communication, and COE collaboration.
