Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Fire Protection and Emergency Preparedness leader to implement and manage programs across NRC-regulated facilities. The role requires coordinating training, drills, and regulatory documentation while interfacing with NRC, ANI, and FM Global inspectors.

Responsibilities include leading a team of staff and contractors, ensuring readiness, and translating complex regulations into actionable procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required.
• Experience in emergency response programs or regulated environments.
• Ability to interface with NRC/state regulators and other authorities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Fire Protection and Emergency Preparedness Programs across NRC/NC/IL facilities.
• Lead a team of employees and contract personnel.
• Design and execute site drills and exercises for emergency readiness.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for fire protection and life safety.
• Oversee EP program performance across sites, including training and drills.
• Develop and manage program systems translating regulations into processes.
• Support licensing activities with regulatory documentation.
