Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Nuclear Post-Fire Safe Shutdown/Fire Protection team and ensure safe shutdown capability in a fire event.

You will ensure compliance with NRC regulations, NFPA codes, licensing commitments, and plant procedures, while directing engineering evaluations, corrective actions, and long‑term strategic initiatives. This role may sit at Palm Beach Gardens, FL or other ENERCON locations and involves travel about

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (fire protection or mechanical preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including project leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering project execution, client relationship management, and leading multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of engineering projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Provide technical direction and oversight across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as primary client interface for engineering execution and technical matters, building and maintaining relationships and pursuing growth opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate matrixed engineering teams, guiding staffing, resource planning, and performance input.
• Ensure adherence to ENERCON's quality assurance processes and promote continuous improvement across projects.
