Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Fire Protection Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Post‑Fire Safe Shutdown/Fire Protection program for nuclear facilities. You will direct a diverse team, ensure NRC/NFPA compliance, and drive strategic initiatives for plant safety and regulatory adherence.

You will oversee fire protection design, alarm and detection, barriers, and hazard analysis while guiding project execution and client engagement. Travel ~10% and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (fire protection or mechanical preferred); advanced degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of fire protection engineering experience, including project leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering project execution, client relationship management, and leading multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of engineering projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Provide technical direction and oversight across assigned projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Act as primary client interface for engineering execution and technical matters, identifying opportunities for repeat business.
• Lead matrix teams and coordinate staffing, resource planning, and performance feedback.
• Promote quality assurance, continuous improvement, and lessons learned across projects.
