Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Fire Protection Senior Engineering Manager to lead Post‑Fire Safe Shutdown and Fire Protection programs for nuclear facilities. You will provide technical direction, ensure NRC and NFPA compliance, and guide a matrixed team to deliver safe shutdown capabilities.

The role oversees engineering evaluations, corrective actions, and strategic initiatives, with travel approx 10% and a PE license, 10+ years of fire protection experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (fire protection or mechanical preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of fire protection engineering experience, including project leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering project execution, client relationship management, leading multidisciplinary teams, and nuclear power plant fire protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of engineering projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Provide technical direction and oversight across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as primary client interface for engineering execution and technical matters, supporting proposal development and growth opportunities.
• Lead matrix teams, coordinate staffing, and drive performance feedback within a collaborative environment.
• Promote ENERCON's quality processes and drive continuous improvement across projects.
