Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced EMC Engineer to drive EMI/EMC testing, verification, and compliance for aerospace electrical systems. You will develop test plans, execute MIL-STD-461 tests, and ensure robust design with traceability and documentation.

The role requires hands-on EMI testing expertise, familiarity with MIL-STD-461, and the ability to lead small teams in a fast-paced environment while supporting mission-driven space programs.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical, aerospace, physics, or related field.
• At least 5 years hands-on EMC/EMI testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-461G and related standards.
• Experience leading small engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI/EMC test planning and verification against MIL-STD-461.
• Develop test strategies, margins, and traceability matrices.
• Design and refine EMI/EMC test plans for avionics systems.
• Operate and maintain EMI/EMC test equipment.
• Produce detailed EMI/EMC test reports with pass/fail determinations.
• Troubleshoot EMI issues and recommend corrective actions.
