Blue Origin LLC seeks an experienced EMC Engineer to lead EMI/EMC tests across aerospace systems, ensuring MIL-STD-461 compliance and robust verification strategies.

You will design test plans, manage equipment, and guide junior engineers while collaborating with multiple engineering teams. The role requires hands-on testing expertise and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced spaceflight environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or Physics.
• 5 years of hands-on EMC/EMI testing with MIL-STD-461 methods.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-461G, DO-160G, and related aerospace standards.
• Proficiency with EMI test automation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Strong systems engineering background and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI/EMC test campaigns and develop verification plans.
• Prepare test strategies, requirement decompositions, and margins.
• Execute MIL-STD-461 tests (CE, CS, RE, RS) and document results.
• Maintain EMI/EMC test equipment and perform troubleshooting.
• Deliver rigorous test reports with spectral data and pass/fail determinations.
• Present EMC solutions to review boards and mentor teams.
