Blue Origin in California seeks an EMC Engineer to drive EMI/EMC verification for avionics and spacecraft systems. You will design test strategies, execute MIL-STD-461 test suites, and ensure traceability to requirements across aerospace platforms.

You will lead test teams, generate rigorous documentation, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to innovative EMI/EMC design solutions in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in EMC/EMI testing and verification, with direct execution experience across MIL-STD-461 CE, CS, RE, and RS test methods.
• Strong systems engineering background with focus on electrical interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Execute EMI/EMC testing per MIL-STD-461G and tailor for aerospace platforms.
• Develop test plans and procedures for EMI/EMC tests on avionics components and systems.
• Lead MIL-STD-461 test suite including all listed methods.
• Produce high-quality test reports with spectral data, margins, and pass/fail determinations.
• Troubleshoot EMI/EMC test failures and recommend corrective actions.
