Blue Origin is seeking an EMC Engineer to join the Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering team. The role focuses on EMI/EMC testing, MIL-STD-461 compliance, and test strategy for avionics and spaceflight systems. You will design tests, manage margins, and document results to support safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years hands-on EMC/EMI testing experience across MIL-STD-461 CE/CS/RE/RS methods.
• Proficiency with MIL-STD-461G, DO-160G, and CISPR standards; experience with test automation is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI/EMC test execution and verification across MIL-STD-461 methods.
• Develop EMI/EMC test plans, procedures, and margin management strategies with traceability.
• Produce rigorous EMI/EMC test reports including spectra, margins, and calibration records.
