Job summary
Lynx is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer in the United States to design, develop, and integrate real-time embedded systems. The role requires strong C/C++ expertise, hands-on work with RTOS platforms, and the ability to collaborate with clients in a DoD-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in a STEM field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and be comfortable working across Linux/Windows environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline
- 5+ years of C/C++ software development experience
- Experience with embedded software (C, C++, Ada)
- RTOS integration experience (Green Hills, Wind River)
- Troubleshooting/debugging on target hardware in lab/mock-up environments
- Proficient with Linux and Windows development environments
- Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps tools and CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Ability to communicate project status and collaborate on technical solutions with clients
- Experience integrating independently developed algorithms into embedded software
- Full lifecycle software development experience
- Active DoD security clearance
- 25% travel
