Job summary
Lynx Software Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support avionics platforms in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on safety-critical embedded software development with strong C++ expertise and RTSOS experience.
The successful candidate will work within a multi-site team, require the ability to obtain a security clearance, and be onsite 100% with occasional travel. A background in MIL-STD-1553 and Ethernet is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM discipline.
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
- C++ development for safety-critical avionics systems.
- Real-Time Operating Systems (MOSA.ic, VxWorks, Integrity).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance and onsite work 100%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate avionics software for military aircraft platforms.
- Test software in lab and hardware environments.
- Collaborate with multi-site teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Document software designs, requirements, and test results.
