Job summary

Lynx is seeking a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer for a remote role focused on high-assurance edge computing.

You will work within our professional services division on diverse technologies, becoming an embedded Linux expert for customer teams and enabling their in-house development efforts. You’ll design real-time architectures, debug complex kernel-level issues, and collaborate across teams to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of embedded Linux experience.
• Proficiency in Linux kernel customization and device-driver design.
• Experience with memory managed high performance ARM Cortex-A or x86 architectures.
• Experience with kernel-level troubleshooting and driver development.
• Proficiency in C programming language.
• Experience with Git at a command line level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refactor real-time software architectures and modular components.
• Reproduce, isolate, and debug low-level problems spanning hardware-software interfaces.
• Collaborate with customer and internal teams to enhance project experience.
• Contribute to product design to assist customers through product lifecycles.
• Ensure project deadlines are met and risks are communicated to customers.
• Develop technical proposals to help customers make decisions.
