Job summary

Lynx Software Technologies, Inc. in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Mission Systems to design, develop, integrate, and test software for core mission capabilities in complex avionics architectures.

The role spans mission computing, data links, displays, sensors, CNI, and weapon systems within a multi-site team. Applicants must have a STEM degree and 5+ years of C/C++ experience, real-time embedded systems, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of C/C++ development experience.
• Experience in mission systems software architecture, including design, development, and integration.
• Software development experience across mission systems such as tactical/mission data links, aircraft sensors, CNI, mission computers, displays, weapon systems, or electronic warfare systems
• C / C++ development for real-time embedded systems
• Integration and interoperability testing in lab and simulated environments
• Ability to work onsite 100%
• Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

• Design, development, integration, and testing of software for core mission capabilities within avionics architectures.
• Work on mission computing, data links, displays, sensors, CNI, mission computers, and weapon systems.
• Collaborate in a multi-site high-performing team; self-motivated with strong work ethic.
• Ensure safety and reliability in mission and safety-critical environments.
