Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville seeks a Software Test Engineer to contribute to testing for tactical strike guided munition programs. You will focus on automated testing, test infrastructure, integration testing, and fielding software products ranging from analysis tools to mission planning components.

Requirements include a BS with GPA 3.0+ in relevant field, 12+ years with BS or 10+ with MS, U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility, and solid experience leading test teams on embedded systems using

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with GPA 3.0 or higher.
10+ years with BS or 8+ with MS in relevant field.
U.S. citizen eligible for DoD security clearance.
Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville area.
Experience leading software test teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
Proven automation testing experience on embedded software/systems.

Responsibilities

Lead test planning, strategy and design for software tests on embedded systems.
Mentor junior software test engineers and coordinate with IPT leads.
Develop and maintain automated testing infrastructure and test frameworks.
Execute integration, formal qualification and fielding tests; document test results.
Communicate with customers and project teams on test status and quality.
