Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Test Engineer for the Huntsville office to help test software for Tactical strike guided munition programs. Focus areas include automated testing, test infrastructure, integration and fielding of software products, and ongoing support.

The role requires leadership of software test teams, expertise in embedded systems testing, and proficiency in C#/.NET, C, C++, Java, Python, or Ruby. Active Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field with GPA 3.0+.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with a BS or 10+ with MS.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Proven lead experience on complex software test projects.
• Strong automated testing on embedded systems.
• Advanced programming skills in listed languages.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, strategy, and design with strong QA practices.
• Review and generate engineering/test documents per standards.
• Provide software test leadership and mentorship to juniors.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders regularly.
