Job summary

Leidos is seeking a talented Software Test Engineer for our Huntsville office to test software for Tactical strike guided munition programs. Focus areas include automated testing, robust test infrastructures, and integration/fielding support across analysis tools, mission planning software, and system components.

The role requires a BS in a technical field, 2+ years of related experience, and an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0+ in a technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Experience performing software test on complex projects.
• Experience implementing software test automation.
• Proficiency in C#/Java/C/C++/Python/Ruby.
• Strong communication skills with leadership and government customers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in test planning, strategy and design, test execution, and product quality recommendations.
• Review, edit, and generate documents for engineering/testing per standards.
• Learn from more senior test engineers.
• Communicate with software developers and team members frequently.
