Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville seeks a Software Engineer to develop robust software for Tactical strike guided munition programs. You will craft full‑stack solutions, supporting analysis tools and mission planning software.;

Responsibilities include design reviews, code quality, and interfacing with embedded systems, while maintaining compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards. A DoD‑clearable engineer with 2+ years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3.0+ GPA in a software/engineering field.
• 2+ years of relevant technical experience in software development.
• U.S. citizen; eligible for DoD security clearance.
• Experience with embedded software or interfaces to embedded systems.
• Proficient in C/C++ and familiar with Python/Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full‑stack software for missile system applications (guidance, navigation, control, telemetry, planning).
• Participate in design, code, and documentation reviews to ensure quality and standards.
• Support tool/framework decisions and promote modular, portable software.
