Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network, delivering fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. You will design, develop, and deploy embedded software for large quantities of consumer electronics, driving the Project Leo devices from requirements through deployment in a collaborative environment with teams inside and outside Amazon.

The role emphasizes C/C++, Rust, Rust, Python, and Linux/RTOS, working across the full SDLC to build

Competenze

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Mansioni

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the Project Leo system.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and code/test coverage.
• Developing embedded software in C, C++, Rust, Python or other languages.
• Have experience with Linux and/or RTOS.
• Review schematics, logic analyzer, and embedded software trouble-shooting techniques.
