Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy embedded software for Customer Terminal devices in the Project Leo family. You will work across the full SDLC, focusing on reliable, high-quality code and collaboration with hardware, product, and operations teams.
The role emphasizes real-time embedded concepts, Linux/RTOS environments, and mentoring or leading engineering efforts. Based in Austin, TX, on-site with strong export-control compliance.
Competenze
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience with embedded software in C/C++, Rust, or Python.
- Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems and Linux/RTOS.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Mansioni
- Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within Project Leo.
- Participate in all SDLC phases: requirements, design, code, test, and coverage.
- Review schematics and debugging techniques for embedded software.
- Collaborate across teams to deploy reliable Leo products.
