Amazon LEO is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, craft, and deploy software for Customer Terminal devices in the LEO system. You will contribute across the SDLC from requirements to deployment, working with hardware, product, and operations teams to deliver reliable consumer devices.

The role requires 3+ years of professional software development, strong C/C++/Rust skills, and experience with Linux or RTOS.

Competenze

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Mansioni

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the Amazon LEO system.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and code/test coverage.
• Developing embedded software in C, C++, Rust, Python or other languages
• Have experience with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices
• Have expertise with Linux and/or RTOS
• Review schematics, logic analyzer, and embedded software trouble‑shooting techniques.
