Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Proficient in C and RTOS environments.
• Experience with bus protocols and embedded systems is required.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
• Ability to own software components end-to-end and mentor teammates.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement trusted, safety-critical Vehicle Management Systems for autonomous platforms.
• Develop scalable sub-systems for sensors, state estimation, and actuation.
• Create reusable software components across product lines.
• Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS and drivers for various sensors.
• Produce test and simulation fixtures for software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support manufacturing and deployment; mentor junior engineers.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and teams.
