Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Maritime Division. You will drive the delivery of software integrated into products, including autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control.

You will demonstrate end-to-end ownership at the subsystem or system level. You will mentor developers, contribute to architecture and platform evolution, and collaborate across teams to deliver reusable components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, software design and system design.
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to own software services and coordinate requirements, roadmaps and evolution.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and work across teams.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and balance needs in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, delivering value.
• Design and implement scalable software with evolution in architecture and capability.
• Contribute to reusable software components across Anduril product lines.
• Develop software for on- and off-robotic platforms, using diverse technologies.
• Define development processes for vehicle and mission software, including testing and monitoring.
• Create test and simulation fixtures for software/hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor software engineers from diverse backgrounds.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or other teams.
