Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Maritime Division in the United States. You will drive the delivery of software integrated into autonomous systems for maritime platforms, including autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board C2 and decision support.

The role requires end-to-end ownership, technical leadership, and ability to mentor engineers while delivering across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains/tech.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, software design.
• Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to own software services end-to-end, from requirements to sustainment.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and balance needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder setting.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, maximizing end-user value.
• Design and implement scalable software for future capability evolution across platforms.
• Contribute to reusable components across Anduril product lines.
• Develop software for both robotic and non-robotic platforms.
• Support development with testing, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.
• Create test/simulation fixtures with software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Assist vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or teams.
