Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior embedded software engineer to design, develop, and test real-time embedded solutions using C/C++ on Linux and RTOS platforms. You will collaborate with systems and hardware engineers to decompose architecture and support software development across teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Agile/DevSecOps environments, experience with multithreading, CMake, and Google Test, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps for embedded software in Linux environments.
• Experience developing multithreaded applications and using CMake/Google Test.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test real-time embedded software on embedded targets.
• Collaborate with Systems and Hardware Engineering to decompose architectures and requirements.
• Participate in Technical Integration Meetings with subcontractors to ensure hardware/software alignment.
