Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer to join our Software Product Assurance team in Goleta, CA. You will develop secure real-time embedded software, mainly in C and C++, for deployed sensor systems and ensure security processes are followed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with the ability to obtain an interim or full security clearance. You will work with cross-functional teams and contribute to DoD programs and security-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of software experience.
• Experience with C/C++ development and embedded OS environments.
• Knowledge of real-time software design and security practices.
• Experience with DoD programs and security tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities
