Job summary

RTX's Mission Systems team seeks experienced Software Engineers with expertise in embedded systems, cybersecurity, or related fields to join our Resilient Connectivity Products group. You’ll lead cybersecurity research, prototype solutions, and collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to secure aerospace and defense platforms. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
• Experience developing embedded software using object-oriented design.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software, communications, cybersecurity, or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D projects focused on cybersecurity technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate cybersecurity.
• Support demonstrations and testing of cybersecurity solutions and capabilities.
• Assist with technical proposals and government-sponsored R&D activities.
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders across Collins and with customers to support project goals and objectives.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
