RTX, the leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking experienced Software Engineers for embedded systems and cybersecurity roles at our Cedar Rapids facility. You will join a fast-growing team focused on secure connected platforms and defense applications, collaborating with hardware, software, and systems engineers to solve complex technical challenges.

Ideal candidates have extensive embedded software experience, cybersecurity expertise, and a proven ability to prototype and iterate

Qualificações

• Degree in STEM with 10+ years' relevant experience or an advanced degree with 8+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience developing embedded software using object-oriented design.
• 10+ years in embedded software, communications, cybersecurity, or related engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Support research and development projects focused on cyber security technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, communications, and systems engineers to develop and evaluate cybersecurity technologies.
• Support technology demonstrations and government-sponsored research and development activities.
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders across Collins and with customers to support project goals and objectives.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
