Job summary
Raytheon Goleta, CA is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer to join our Software Product Assurance team. You will implement security principles in embedded sensor software and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure real-time applications.
Required: bachelor's in STEM, 5+ years in C/C++, experience with VxWorks/Embedded Linux, and ability to obtain interim Secret clearance. Preferred: DoD program experience, security tools, and Agile/DevSecOps practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of software experience.
- Experience in C/C++ development for embedded real-time systems.
- Knowledge of embedded OS such as VxWorks or Embedded Linux.
- Embedded software security experience and ability to obtain interim Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and secure software for real-time sensor systems.
- Apply Software Security principles to embedded design, development, integration, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define TDMC-based deployment requirements.
- Interface with customers to review technical designs and verify system maturity.
- Ensure Product Assurance processes are followed on programs.
