Job summary

Raytheon in Goleta, CA seeks a Principal Systems Security Engineer (SSE) - P4 to join the SSE Sensors, Space, & Air department. The role applies Anti-Tamper and embedded cybersecurity expertise to deliver secure products to the end-user.

You will lead technical efforts, develop security solutions, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. An active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required; the position is onsite in Goleta with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance required.
Experience in Anti-Tamper (HW, SW, Systems), Cybersecurity or Software Assurance.
Minimum 6 years of progressive technical experience in Systems/Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

Perform CPI analysis.
Generate SSE requirements and perform derivation and decomposition.
Develop and execute SSE trade-studies with path-forward recommendations.
Create systems engineering artifacts: functional block, sequence, activity diagrams.
Develop the program Anti-Tamper Plan and V&V Plans/Procedures.
Present at internal and external reviews and briefings.
