Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer for our Tucson, AZ campus to deliver real-time missile software with strong security focus. You will design, develop, integrate and test software using C/C++, work with embedded OS such as VxWorks or Embedded Linux, and coordinate with Systems Security Engineering to meet DoD requirements.

A Bachelor's in STEM and 5+ years of experience are required, along with eligibility to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of relevant software experience.
• Experience with C/C++ in embedded environments.
• Experience with Xilinx MPSoC/Versal or similar Embedded Processors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand real-time software design and performance implications for System Security implementations.
• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain missile software in C/C++ on embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Interface with customer community to review technical design and verify system maturity.
• Work in a common development environment to enable program capabilities.
• Review code and develop solutions at the source code level.
