Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer in El Segundo, CA, to join the Software Product Assurance team. You will apply security principles to embedded real-time sensor software and work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments. Qualifications include a STEM degree, 5+ years in software, C/C++, and experience with VxWorks or Embedded Linux.

A DoD Secret clearance is required, along with U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
5+ years of relevant software experience.
Experience with C/C++ programming.

Responsibilities

Implement Software Security principles to embedded software design, development, integration, and testing of real-time sensor software.
Develop software applications using C and C++ on a variety of computing platforms.
Ensure the Software Product Assurance processes are followed on programs.
Understand real-time software design and performance implications of System Security implementations.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement TDMC-based execution development and deployment requirements.
Interface with the customer community to review technical design and support verification of system maturity.
