Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer in Morrisville, NC, to join a high‑performance team building embedded firmware for electric metering products. You will develop ARM‑based firmware in C, plus Java software for custom runtimes, and contribute to testing, diagnostics, and CI/CD practices.

You should have strong experience with RTOS, device drivers, SPI/I2C, and secure boot, with a track record of delivering high‑volume, reliable firmware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development for high‑volume products.
• Strong embedded C with ARM, HALs, and device drivers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for ARM MCUs.
• Develop Java software for custom runtime environments and interfaces.
• Build tests, CI/CD pipelines, and diagnostics for manufacturing
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams on complex integrations.
