V2X is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to advance secure, high-performance embedded systems for defense/aerospace applications. You will design and implement firmware for ARM Cortex MCUs, create peripheral drivers, and support hardware bring-up in a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in embedded firmware or software development on microcontroller/ARM Cortex systems.
• Proficient in C and/or C++ for real-time embedded development.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, test equipment, and lab troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with version control and configuration management tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate embedded firmware/software solutions for ARM Cortex-based MCUs.
• Develop peripheral interfaces and device drivers (serial, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, motor control).
• Support hardware bring-up and board-level verification with lab tools.
• Integrate RTOS or bare-metal real-time applications for reliable performance.
• Contribute to system-level validation and test automation.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in Agile teams via MS Teams, Azure DevOps.
• Engage in code and design reviews, promoting quality and secure development practices.
